Indian River North Jetty repair to begin Oct. 2nd
Monday, September 30, 2013

On Wednesday, Oct. 2, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contractors will begin repair work on the north side of the Indian River Inlet jetty, which is located within Delaware Seashore State Park. Construction work will focus on the eastern portion of the jetty and the project will also repair the collapsed sidewalk.

Public access to the eastern section of the north jetty will be closed during the duration of the project, which is expected to take 90 days.

Delaware Seashore State Park’s day areas on the north side of the inlet which are not affected by construction will remain open to fishing and other outdoor recreational activities. For more information, contact the park office at 302-227-2800.
