OC Inlet Dredging scheduled for March 4th
Friday, March 4, 2016

The Army Corp of Engineers are expected to begin dredging the Ocean City Inlet today with the Currtuck coming to town to dredge 10,000 cubic yards of the 45,000 cubic yards needed to get the channel to the approved depth of 10 feet plus 2 feet of overdraft.

Another dredge, the Murden, is scheduled to arrive later in March to remove the additional 35,000 cubic yards.

All of the dredged material will be dumped south of the OC Inlet.
