New VA state record bluefin caught

A 576.5 lb. bluefin tuna was caught by Capt. Robert Smith to set a new Virginia state record, beating Virginia's previous record of 573 lbs.

Smith was fishing on the "Bella Donna" and hooked the 102-inch bluefin at 8:15 in the morning. The fish was landed at 2:30 in the afternoon.
