Another VA state record bluefin caught

Less than a week after the Virginia state record bluefin was caught on the "Bella Donna", the record was broken again when Chase Robinson landed a 606 pounder while fishing on Charles Dawson's "Ate Up" our of Rudee Inlet. The fish measured 102.5-inches and had a 71-inch girth.

The fish was fought for 5 hours and pulled the boat 15 miles east during the fight.
