10th Annual Ocean City Inshore Classic

The Ocean City Inshore Classic is a thrilling 32-hour inshore fishing tournament held in Ocean City, Maryland, offering anglers the flexibility to fish any or all of the competition window, which begins at 7:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, and ends at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 11. With four distinct categories—Rockfish, Flounder, Tautog, and Open—the tournament provides a competitive platform for a variety of species, including in the Open Division bluefish, grey trout, speckled trout, sheepshead, black drum, red drum, triggerfish, and croaker.

For a $100 registration fee that includes the captain ($50 per additional angler, up to five per boat), participants can compete for first, second, and third place in each division, as well as calcuttas for the largest fish, with cash prizes ranging from $25 to $500. The tournament kicks off with a Captain’s Meeting on Friday, October 4, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Marina Activity Room, with fish weigh-ins scheduled at Atlantic Tackle on Saturday evening (4:00–7:00 PM) and Sunday afternoon (3:00–5:00 PM). Awards and further details will be announced during the Captain’s Meeting.
