MD DNR Fisheries Services Adjusts Recreational Sea Bass Dates

The Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, pursuant to COMAR 08.02.05.21F, announces the season, catch limit, and minimum size for the recreational black sea bass fishery for 2015, effective 12:01 a.m. July 17, 2015.
NOAA Fisheries issued a correction to the season effective June 19, 2015. This notice corrects the season, is consistent with NOAA Fisheries requirements and replaces the notice that was effective January 1, 2015.
• The season will be open May 15, 2015 through September 21, 2015 and October 22, 2015 through December 31, 2015. The season is closed all other dates in 2015.
• Anglers may keep up to 15 black sea bass per person per day.
• The minimum size is 12.5 inches.
